About Me
My name is Kelly Lucas and I teach American Government and U.S. History. I am a graduate of Western Michigan University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Social Studies. I also have a master’s degree from Marygrove College in Teaching, Curriculum, and Assessment. This is my 21st year of teaching all of which have been spent here at Sterling Heights High School. I spend my time out of school enjoying my family, traveling, water sports, snow skiing, and cooking.
I believe that educating your child is a partnership. By working together, I know that we can make this year a success for your child. You can feel free to contact me via email ([email protected]) or by calling the school (586-825-2700 ext. 14503). Thank you for making that first step by reviewing my web page and I look forward to working with your student!
